Our Story
Eve’s Hair Care Beauty Salon is more than just a salon—it is a sanctuary of beauty, resilience, and faith, built on generations of love, perseverance, and community. Since opening its doors on May 5, 2005, the salon has been a cornerstone in Boston, serving Black and Brown communities with dedication, care, and expert craftsmanship.
The journey of Eve’s Hair Care began long before its grand opening. As a young girl, salon owner Evelyne found joy in doing hair and nails for her friends and family, unaware that her childhood passion would one day shape her destiny. Her original dream was to enter the medical field, but after experiencing a heart attack following the birth of her daughter, Jessica, Evelyne’s health demanded a career that offered flexibility. After years of trying to find her footing, she enrolled in cosmetology school, rekindling the love for hair she had carried since childhood. Shortly after, she opened her salon with her daughter side by side solidifying their place in the beauty industry.
Today, Jessica is the salon’s natural hair expert, dedicated to educating men and women in the community on how to embrace and care for their natural textures.Her role in the salon is a testament to the strength of legacy—honoring her mother’s craftsmanship, resilience, and dedication to the art of hairdressing.
